Cakewalk Guitar Tracks 2 Reviews 3

I purchased the GT2 at Best Buy. 49.95 Because I've Tried Magix and Cubase and didn't care for it. It's like NON MUSICIAN nerds wrote the programs. The functions were not in order and it (they) crashed a lot. I don't have that problem with the Cakewalk GT2.

THE EDIT AND MIX BOARDS

However the GT2 has some of the same problems that Magix has. The Bundle and Normal file naming(taging). It can be very confusing on final mixdown and CD burning applications. It should let you know which file you just completed without searching or refreshing the directory(audio data area). And some times That's a bitch. If youre working with multiple takes. In the edit program when you want to raise or lower the volume of trax the only choice is 3dbs. I believe it should be incrumental by 1s not 3s. For more control in editing dynamics in sections of bad dynamics. Damn Singers. he he he he

Other than the problems listed above the GT2 kicks Ass! The manuvering thru the edit and mix down console is great. It moves very quickly without crashing. The arming of the recording options are good. I Love It!
